Boxercise - the best stress buster around - is one of the most effective forms of cross training available today. It combines use of both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres. This ensures a diverse workout that enhances sports specific senses, including hand to eye co-ordination, balance and timing. Boxercise classes are always fun, energetic and addictive!!!

Classes are suitable for men and women of all ages and fitness levels, you go at your own ace and set your own intensity levels. If you have never tried boxing before don't worry all the basics are taught at the start of the class from how to stand to how to punch, you will be amazed at easy and fun it is to learn.
About the Instructor
Classes are conducted by Laura Sweeney BA (Hons) who has several years experience in the fitness industry, she is currently studying to be a sports therapist and personal trainer.
Laura is also a black belt in Taekwondo. She has extensive experience teaching martial arts at the centre for two years. She is employed by local authorities as part of the Active School and Nurseries initiative.
She regularly represent her club at tournaments and is a member of Scotland National Team. Last year she won the Scottish Cup, British Nationals and the Boeskool Open in Holland.
Laura is fully insured and CRB vetted.
